Noisy-le-Grand offers a wealth of dynamic cultural, sports, and social opportunities. The town has a busy cultural life with plenty of varied possibilities. Festive occasions such as the Christmas Market and indeed Carnival are organised. Acclaimed entertainment is to be seen at the Espace Michel Simon. The Municipal Conservatory (named after Maurice Baquet, an actor and musician who lived in Noisy for more than 30 years), is always ready to welcome more musicians.

THE THEATRE - ESPACE MICHEL SIMON

The Espace Michel-Simon, a cultural centre named after the famous French actor Michel Simon, who lived in Noisy-le-Grand, puts on internationally-reputed shows and houses an 800m² exhibition hall and multimedia centre.

Concerts, theatre plays, exhibitions, dance performances, circus and comedy… A broad programme that gives pride of place to the artists of the time and to new talents. Membership and single entry tickets.

Transverse flute, dance, piano, saxophone, percussion, violin, accordion, trumpet, singing, tuba etc. Teaching at the Maurice Baquet Registered Municipal School of Music and Dance includes every instrument, classical and contemporary dance, opera singing, choirs and orchestras! This extensive programme is open to pupils aged 6 and over and includes music appreciation classes for 4 to 6 year olds.

This is a resource and venue for local social life where clubs can take advantage of tailored advice, room hire for their meetings, a document library, and office equipment. The Maison des Arts et des Associations also offers a programme that includes the art of cooking, and exhibitions about art, history or educational matters. It is developing a potential programme of events (shows, municipal activities, and concerts). On its roof are 6 beehives - part of the programme "The Bee - Guardian of the Environment". It is also the venue for a variety of events such as the Forum des Associations.
